For The Easy Days By The Water

Mom, I was thinking about those beach house days with friends around, water nearby, laughter going, and me learning ring toss in the middle of all of it.

At the time, it probably just felt like a fun day. Now I understand that those easy scenes do not happen by accident. You helped make room for joy to feel natural — for friends, sunshine, games, and that simple feeling of being happy where I was.
